In Saturday's non-league match, the host Portland Panthers basketball team scored a good 51-43 triumph over the Glencliff Colts.

In their next game, the Panthers meet the Martin Luther King Jr. Magnet Royals (Nashville, TN) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, February 28. Portland will attempt to better on its 15-16 season record. The Royals enter the match with a 15-6 record after their 48-44 non-league win over Greenbrier (Greenbrier, TN).

With the defeat, Glencliff moves to 7-19 on the year.
