Scranton Prep Cavaliers (Scranton, PA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Greater Nanticoke Area Trojans (Nanticoke, PA), 64-61 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Scranton Prep upgrades its record to 14-9 on the season. The Cavaliers travel to Valley View (Archbald, PA) to clash with the Cougars in a Lackawanna 1 bout on Saturday, March 4. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 21-3. Valley View won 57-34 in their recent non-league bout against Tunkhannock (Tunkhannock, PA)

Next up, the Trojans clash with the Tunkhannock Tigers (Tunkhannock, PA) in a Wyoming Valley 1 bout, on Tuesday, February 28. Greater Nanticoke Area will attempt to upgrade on its 15-9 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 12-11 record after their 57-34 non-league loss to Valley View (Archbald, PA).
