In Saturday's non-league match, the host South Gibson Hornets basketball team scored a tight 56-54 triumph over the Lexington Tigers.
In their next game, the Hornets meet the Hardin County Tigers (Savannah, TN) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, February 28. South Gibson will attempt to move on its 12-13 season record. The Tigers enter the match with a 10-10 record after their 70-63 non-league win over Jackson North Side (Jackson, TN).
With the defeat, Lexington moves to 7-15 on the year.
