The Memorial Day Matadors basketball team scored 62 points and restricted the host Thomas Jefferson Academy Jaguars to 22 in the Matadors non-league victory on Saturday.

The Matadors now sport a 19-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to First Preparatory Christian Academy for a non-league contest on Thursday, March 2. Memorial Day will battle a Highlanders team coming off a 83-70 non-league win over Harvester Christian Academy (Douglasville, GA). The Highlanders record now stands at 14-9.
