The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Golden Valley Grizzlies (Santa Clarita, CA) and the host Thousand Oaks Lancers (Thousand Oaks, CA), saw Golden Valley's volleyball squad nip Thousand Oaks by a tally of 2-1.
With the win, Golden Valley upgrades its record to 1-0 on the year. The Grizzlies host Valencia (Valencia, CA) to play the Vikings in a bout on Tuesday, March 14. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 0-2.
The Lancers now own a 2-3 record. They play next when they host Calabasas for a bout on Friday, March 10.
