The Hammond Central Red Devils ran past the visiting Chateaugay Bulldogs basketball team by a final score of 53-37 in Saturday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Red Devils face the Franklin Academy Huskies (Malone, NY) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, March 1. Hammond Central will attempt to move on its 17-0 season record. The Huskies enter the game with a 14-6 record after their 48-42 non-league win over Massena (Massena, NY).
With the defeat, Chateaugay moves to 18-4 on the year.
