The Lafayette Commodores tipped the visiting Holmes County Central Jaguars basketball team by a final score of 50-48 in Saturday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Commodores face the West Jones Mustangs (Laurel, MS) in a non-league game, on Monday, February 27. Lafayette will attempt to move on its 23-6 season record. The Mustangs enter the game with a 12-1 record after their 50-29 non-league win over West Harrison (Gulfport, MS).
With the defeat, Holmes County Central moves to 15-14 on the year.
