The North Duplin Rebels ran past the visiting Perquimans Pirates basketball team by a final score of 62-54 in Saturday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Rebels face the Falls Lake Firebirds (Creedmoor, NC) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, February 28. North Duplin will attempt to move on its 24-1 season record. The Firebirds enter the game with a 30-0 record after their 76-63 non-league win over Chatham Central (Bear Creek, NC).
With the defeat, Perquimans moves to 23-3 on the year.
