The China Spring Cougars softball team scored 10 runs and limited the host A&M Consolidated Tigers to 8 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Saturday.
With the triumph, China Spring moves its record to 7-7 on the year. The Cougars travel to Copperas Cove (Copperas Cove, TX) to clash with the Bulldawgs in a non-league game on Tuesday, February 28. The Bulldawgs come into the game with a record of 2-2. Copperas Cove lost 7-2 in their recent non-league game against Gateway College Preparatory (Georgetown, TX)
In their next game, the Tigers clash with the Brenham Cubs (Brenham, TX) in a 5A Region III District 21 game, on Tuesday, March 7. A&M Consolidated will attempt to move on its 4-2 season record.
