The Hutto Hippos softball team scored 15 runs and limited the visiting Anderson Trojans to 6 in the Hippos non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Hutto moves its record to 3-10 on the year. The Hippos host Caldwell (Caldwell, TX) to clash with the Hornets in a non-league game on Tuesday, February 28. The Hornets come into the game with a record of 2-2. Caldwell won 9-1 in their recent non-league game against Madisonville (Madisonville, TX)

In their next game, the Trojans clash with the Johnson Jaguars (Buda, TX) in a 6A Region IV District 26 game, on Tuesday, February 28. Anderson will attempt to move on its 3-9 season record. The Jaguars come into the game with a 5-2 record after their 8-3 non-league win over Weiss (Pflugerville, TX).
