Argyle Eagles (Argyle, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Ponder Lions (Ponder, TX), 8-6 in a non-league challenge.

The Eagles now own a 10-3 record. They play next when they travel to Fossil Ridge for a non-league match on Saturday, February 25.

With the loss, Ponder moves to 1-11 on the season. The Lions host Denton (Denton, TX) to face the Broncos in a non-league match on Saturday, February 25. The Broncos go into the match with a record of 1-3. Denton won 8-4 in their recent non-league match against Ponder (Ponder, TX)
