South Carolina High School Softball - Calhoun County topped by Barnwell

February 25, 2023: St. Matthews, SC 29135

In Saturday's non-league contest, the Barnwell Warhorses (Barnwell, SC) softball team overwhelmed the host Calhoun County Saints (St. Matthews, SC), by a margin of 16-2.

With the triumph, Barnwell moves its record to 4-0 on the year. The Warhorses host Edisto (Cordova, SC) to play the Cougars in a AA Region 6 contest on Tuesday, March 7. The Cougars come into the contest with a record of 0-0.

In their next game, the Saints play the North Eagles (North, SC) in a A Region 4 contest, on Monday, March 6. Calhoun County will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record.
