Benson Bobcats (Benson, AZ) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the host El Paso Tigers (El Paso, TX), 13-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Bobcats now own a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Walden Grove for a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 25. Benson will battle a Red Wolves squad coming off a 11-0 non-league loss to Sabino (Tucson, AZ). The Red Wolves record now stands at 1-3.

With the loss, El Paso falls to 3-6 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Andress (El Paso, TX) to battle the Eagles in a 5A Region I District 1 challenge on Tuesday, February 28. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 1-1. Andress lost 10-7 in their recent non-league challenge against San Elizario (San Elizario, TX)
