Bremond Tigers (Bremond, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Bruceville-Eddy Eagles (Eddy, TX), 12-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Tigers now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to C.H. Yoe for a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 25. Bremond will battle a Yoemen squad coming off a 15-0 non-league loss to East Central (San Antonio, TX). The Yoemen record now stands at 4-4.

With the loss, Bruceville-Eddy falls to 5-3 on the campaign. The Eagles host Riesel (Riesel, TX) to battle the Indians in a 2A Region II District 13 challenge on Tuesday, February 28. The Indians enter the challenge with a record of 3-1. Riesel won 20-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Gholson (Waco, TX)
