The Dobie Longhorns softball team scored 7 runs and limited the visiting Bridgeland Bears to 3 in the Longhorns non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Dobie moves its record to 9-3 on the year. The Longhorns host Deer Park (Deer Park, TX) to clash with the Deer in a 6A Region III District 22 game on Tuesday, February 28. The Deer come into the game with a record of 7-3. Deer Park won 14-0 in their recent non-league game against HCYA (Houston, TX)

In their next game, the Bears clash with the Cypress Park Tigers (Cypress, TX) in a 6A Region II District 16 game, on Tuesday, February 28. Bridgeland will attempt to better on its 10-2 season record. The Tigers go into the battle with a 2-3 record after their 10-0 non-league loss to Jordan (Fulshear, TX).
