Bryant Hurricanes (Irvington, AL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Sumrall Bobcats (Sumrall, MS), 10-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Hurricanes now own a 6-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Satsuma for a non-league challenge on Monday, February 27. Bryant will battle a Gators squad coming off a 4-1 non-league loss to Harrison Central (Gulfport, MS). The Gators record now stands at 13-4.

With the loss, Sumrall falls to 2-1 on the campaign. The Bobcats travel to Satsuma (Satsuma, AL) to battle the Gators in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 17. The Gators enter the challenge with a record of 14-4.
