Waco Lions (Waco, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Caddo Mills Foxes (Caddo Mills, TX), 12-4 in a non-league challenge.

The Lions now own a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they host Killeen for a 6A Region II District 12 challenge on Tuesday, February 28. Waco will battle a Kangaroos squad coming off a 8-5 non-league loss to Winnsboro (Winnsboro, TX). The Kangaroos record now stands at 0-7.

With the loss, Caddo Mills falls to 4-8 on the campaign. The Foxes travel to Greenville (Greenville, TX) to battle the Lions in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 28. The Lions enter the challenge with a record of 0-4. Greenville lost 10-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Community (Nevada, TX)
