Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the Cedar Hill Longhorns (Cedar Hill, TX) and the visiting Itasca Wampus Cats (Itasca, TX), witnessed Cedar Hill's softball squad prevail over Itasca by a count of 20-4.

The Longhorns now sport a 5-2 record. They play next when they host Nolan Catholic for a non-league match on Tuesday, February 28. Cedar Hill will meet a Vikings squad coming off a 8-6 non-league loss to Dallas HSAA (Plano, TX). The Vikings record now stands at 0-13.
