Ganado Indians (Ganado, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Edna Cowboys (Edna, TX), 9-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Indians now sport a 11-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Schulenburg for a 2A Region IV District 29 challenge on Tuesday, February 28. Ganado will face a Shorthorns squad coming off a 10-0 non-league win over Giddings (Giddings, TX). The Shorthorns record now stands at 5-1.

With the loss, Edna falls to 0-4 on the campaign. The Cowboys travel to Tidehaven (El Maton, TX) to face the Tigers in a 3A Region IV District 25 challenge on Tuesday, March 7. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 2-4.
