Texas High School Softball - Goliad bounces Sabinal

The Goliad Tigers routed the visiting Sabinal Yellowjackets softball squad by a final score of 14-5 in Saturday's non-league battle.

The Tigers (3-10) will now prepare for their battle against Skidmore-Tynan (Skidmore, TX). The Bobcats go into the non-league battle with a 5-4 record. In their last battle, Skidmore-Tynan was routed by Gateway College Preparatory (Georgetown, TX), 19-0, in a non-league battle.

The Yellowjackets now possess a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to Robstown for a non-league battle on Saturday, February 25. Sabinal will confront a Cottonpickers squad coming off a 9-0 non-league loss to Los Fresnos (Los Fresnos, TX). The Cottonpickers record now stands at 3-8.
