Heritage Coyotes (Frisco, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Ridge Point Panthers (Missouri City, TX), 10-6 in a non-league challenge.

The Coyotes now sport a 12-1 record. They take the field next when they host Independence for a 5A Region II District 10 challenge on Tuesday, February 28. Heritage will face a Knights squad coming off a 8-3 non-league loss to Waxahachie (Waxahachie, TX). The Knights record now stands at 0-4.

With the loss, Ridge Point falls to 8-3 on the campaign. The Panthers host Fort Bend Dulles (Sugar Land, TX) to face the Vikings in a 6A Region III District 20 challenge on Tuesday, February 28. The Vikings enter the challenge with a record of 3-7. Fort Bend Dulles lost 9-8 in their recent non-league challenge against Sterling (Baytown, TX)
