In Saturday's non-league contest, the Jefferson Mustangs (San Antonio, TX) softball team overwhelmed the visiting IDEA South Flores Owls (San Antonio, TX), by a margin of 9-0.

With the triumph, Jefferson moves its record to 4-6 on the year. The Mustangs host Burbank (San Antonio, TX) to play the Bulldogs in a 5A Region IV District 27 contest on Tuesday, February 28.
