Texas High School Softball - Kenedy can't get by Kaufer

In Saturday's non-league contest, the Kaufer Seahawks (Riviera, TX) softball team held off the host Kenedy Lions (Kenedy, TX), by a margin of 4-3.

With the triumph, Kaufer moves its record to 12-3 on the year. The Seahawks travel to Stockdale (Stockdale, TX) to play the Brahmas in a non-league contest on Saturday, February 25. The Brahmas come into the contest with a record of 3-7. Stockdale lost 8-4 in their recent non-league contest against Poth (Poth, TX)

In their next game, the Lions play the Skidmore-Tynan Bobcats (Skidmore, TX) in a 2A Region IV District 31 contest, on Tuesday, March 14. Kenedy will attempt to move on its 2-3 season record.
