Maricopa Rams (Maricopa, AZ) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the host La Joya Community Fighting Lobos (Avondale, AZ), 14-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Rams now own a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cactus for a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 25. Maricopa will battle a Cobras squad coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Northwest Christian (Phoenix, AZ). The Cobras record now stands at 0-4.

With the loss, La Joya Community falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Fighting lobos travel to Central (Phoenix, AZ) to battle the Bobcats in a non-league challenge on Monday, February 27. The Bobcats enter the challenge with a record of 1-0. Central won 12-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Tempe (Tempe, AZ)
