The Pirates now own a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Valley Mills for a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 25. La Vega will battle a Eagles squad coming off a 15-6 non-league loss to Little River Academy (Little River Academy, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 3-2.

With the loss, McGregor falls to 1-4 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Lago Vista (Lago Vista, TX) to battle the Vikings in a non-league challenge on Monday, February 27. The Vikings enter the challenge with a record of 0-9. Lago Vista lost 15-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Comanche (Comanche, TX)
