Northside Rams (Northport, AL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Lawrence County Red Devils (Moulton, AL), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Rams now own a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Curry for a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 25. Northside will face a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 4-3 non-league win over Northside (Northport, AL). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 3-0.

With the loss, Lawrence County falls to 0-4 on the campaign. The Red devils travel to West Point (Cullman, AL) to face the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Monday, February 27. The Warriors enter the challenge with a record of 5-0. West Point won 11-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Falkville (Falkville, AL)
