The Santa Fe Indians softball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting Medina Valley Panthers to 0 in the Indians non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Santa Fe moves its record to 12-1 on the year. The Indians host La Porte (La Porte, TX) to clash with the Bulldogs in a 5A Region III District 18 game on Tuesday, February 28. The Bulldogs come into the game with a record of 4-4.

In their next game, the Panthers clash with the South San Antonio Bobcats (San Antonio, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 28 game, on Tuesday, February 28. Medina Valley will attempt to move on its 6-8 season record. The Bobcats come into the game with a 7-6 record after their 5-2 non-league loss to Clemens (Schertz, TX).
