The Badgers now own a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Big Spring for a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 25. Merkel will battle a Steers squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Cooper (Abilene, TX). The Steers record now stands at 4-1.

With the loss, Monahans falls to 4-5 on the campaign. The Loboes travel to Graham (Graham, TX) to battle the Steers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 25.
