Georgia High School Basketball - Oglethorpe County ripped by Mount Vernon

The Mount Vernon Mustangs basketball team scored 89 points and held the visiting Oglethorpe County Patriots to 61 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Sunday.

The Mustangs now sport a 20-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host East Laurens for a non-league contest on Wednesday, February 28. Mount Vernon will meet a Falcons team coming off a 68-60 non-league win over Irwin County (Ocilla, GA). The Falcons record now stands at 22-4.
