Georgia High School Baseball - Benedictine defeats Islands

In Tuesday's non-league game, the host Benedictine Cadets baseball team scored a close 5-0 win over the Islands Sharks.
The Cadets (3-4) will now prepare for their game against East Coweta (Sharpsburg, GA). The Indians go into the non-league game with a 7-1 record. In their last game, East Coweta was overwhelmed by Pike County (Zebulon, GA), 4-3, in a non-league game.
Next, the Sharks play the Effingham County Rebels (Springfield, GA) in a non-league game, on Thursday, February 27. Islands will attempt to improve on its 2-5 season record. The Rebels go into the game with a 8-1 record after their 8-3 non-league win over Camden County (Kingsland, GA).
