Florida High School Baseball - Merritt Island edges Central

The crowd at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Merritt Island Mustangs (Merritt Island, FL) and the visiting Central Cobras (Fort Pierce, FL), saw Merritt Island's baseball team gain a win over Central by a tally of 5-3.

The Mustangs (5-1) will now prepare for their battle against Astronaut (Titusville, FL). The War Eagles enter the 4A District 8 battle with a 1-5 record. In their last battle, Astronaut by Satellite (Satellite Beach, FL), 11-2, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Cobras face the Melbourne Central Catholic Hustlers (Melbourne, FL) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, February 27. Central will attempt to upgrade on its 5-4 season record.
