The Choctaw County Chargers (Ackerman, MS) baseball trounced the visiting West Point Green Wave (West Point, MS), 12-0 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.

The Chargers now own a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to South Pontotoc for a non-league challenge on Friday, February 28. Choctaw County will clash with a Cougars team coming off a 11-8 non-league loss to Caledonia (Caledonia, MS). The Cougars record now stands at 1-3.

With the defeat, West Point drops to 4-3 on the year. The Green wave travel to Grenada (Grenada, MS) to clash with the Chargers in a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 27. The Chargers go into the challenge with a record of 3-2. Grenada lost 8-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Eupora (Eupora, MS)
