The Glenn Bobcats (Kernersville, NC) baseball got by the visiting Southwestern Randolph Cougars (Asheboro, NC), 8-7 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.
The Bobcats now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Mount Tabor for a Central Piedmont 4A challenge on Tuesday, March 4. Glenn will clash with a Spartans team coming off a 5-1 non-league loss to Calvary Day School (Winston-Salem, NC). The Spartans record now stands at 1-1.
With the defeat, Southwestern Randolph drops to 0-1 on the year. The Cougars host Asheboro (Asheboro, NC) to clash with the Blue Comets in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, February 26. The Blue Comets go into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
