Winnfield Tigers (Winnfield, LA) followers left the game pleased Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad nip the visiting Natchitoches Central Chiefs (Natchitoches, LA), 3-2 in a non-league contest.
With the triumph, Winnfield moves its record to 3-5 on the season. The Tigers travel to Quitman (Quitman, LA) to confront the Wolverines in a non-league contest on Tuesday, March 4. The Wolverines come into the contest with a record of 4-6.
The Chiefs now possess a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Holy Savior Menard for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 27. Natchitoches Central will confront a Eagles squad coming off a 5-4 non-league loss to Tioga (Tioga, LA). The Eagles record now stands at 2-5.
