The Seymour Panthers baseball team scored 16 runs and held the visiting Northside Indians to 15 in the Panthers non-league win on Tuesday.

The Panthers now own a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Littlefield for a non-league test on Thursday, February 27. Seymour will clash with a Wildcats team coming off a 10-0 non-league win over Sundown (Sundown, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-2.

With the defeat, Northside drops to 0-1 on the year. The Indians travel to Bellevue (Bellevue, TX) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league test on Thursday, February 27. The Eagles go into the test with a record of 0-1. Bellevue lost 5-0 in their recent non-league test against Henrietta (Henrietta, TX)
