The West Wilkes Blackhawks baseball squad (Millers Creek, NC), was overwhelmed 10-0 in Tuesday's non-league contest with the host South Iredell Vikings (Statesville, NC)
With the triumph, South Iredell moves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Vikings host North Iredell (Olin, NC) to confront the Raiders in a non-league contest on Wednesday, February 26. The Raiders come into the contest with a record of 0-0.
The Blackhawks now possess a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Watauga for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 27. West Wilkes will confront a Pioneers squad coming off a 13-3 non-league loss to West Forsyth (Clemmons, NC). The Pioneers record now stands at 0-1.
