California High School Basketball - Amador Valley can't hold off Redwood

Redwood Giants (Larkspur, CA) supporters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Amador Valley Dons (Pleasanton, CA), 49-47 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Redwood advances its record to 22-6 on the year. The Giants travel to Dougherty Valley (San Ramon, CA) to face the Wildcats in a non-league match on Saturday, March 1. The Wildcats enter the match with a record of 23-8. Dougherty Valley won 64-55 in their recent non-league match against Clayton Valley Charter (Concord, CA)

The Dons now own a 21-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Clayton Valley Charter for a non-league match on Friday, February 28. Amador Valley will face a Ugly Eagles squad coming off a 64-55 non-league loss to Dougherty Valley (San Ramon, CA). The Ugly Eagles record now stands at 20-12.
