North Carolina High School Basketball - Mount Airy routed by Carolina International

Carolina International Comets (Concord, NC) supporters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Mount Airy Granite Bears (Mount Airy, NC), 68-43 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Carolina International advances its record to 21-8 on the year. The Comets travel to Mountain Heritage (Burnsville, NC) to face the Cougars in a non-league match on Friday, February 28. The Cougars enter the match with a record of 23-2. Mountain Heritage won 77-53 in their recent non-league match against Piedmont Classical (Browns Summit, NC)

The Granite Bears now own a 13-13 record.
