In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting Gardner-Edgerton Trailblazers basketball team scored a close 65-60 triumph over the Olathe East Hawks.
The Trailblazers (7-11) will now prepare for their contest against Lawrence (Lawrence, KS). The Lions go into the Sunflower contest with a 5-14 record. In their last contest, Lawrence was tipped by Shawnee Mission North (Shawnee Mission, KS), 67-49, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Hawks battle the Olathe West Owls (Olathe, KS) in a Sunflower contest, on Friday, February 28. Olathe East will attempt to better on its 9-8 season record. The Owls go into the contest with a 11-7 record after their 59-58 league loss to Shawnee Mission East (Shawnee Mission, KS).
