West Virginia High School Basketball - Riverside sneaks past Independence

The Riverside Warriors basketball squad scored 65 points and held the visiting Independence Patriots to 63 in the Warriors non-league victory on Tuesday.

With the victory, Riverside upgrades its record to 6-15 on the year. The Warriors host Ripley (Ripley, WV) to face the Vikings in a non-league match on Friday, February 28. The Vikings enter the match with a record of 16-5. Ripley won 60-48 in their recent non-league match against Ravenswood (Ravenswood, WV)

The Patriots now sport a 5-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Liberty for a non-league match on Friday, February 28. Independence will face a Raiders squad coming off a 67-39 league loss to Wyoming East (New Richmond, WV). The Raiders record now stands at 6-11.
