Virginia High School Basketball - Indian River fells Kempsville

The Indian River Braves basketball team scored 59 points and limited the visiting Kempsville Chiefs to 51 in the Braves non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Braves now have a 16-6 record. They play next when they travel to First Colonial for a non-league game on Thursday, February 27. Indian River will confront a Patriots team coming off a 70-62 non-league win over Kellam (Virginia Beach, VA). The Patriots record now stands at 10-14.

With the loss, Kempsville falls to 10-13 on the season.
