Colorado High School Basketball - Mitchell holds off Walsenburg

In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Mitchell Marauders basketball team scored a close 42-41 triumph over the Walsenburg Panthers.

The Marauders (1-20) will now prepare for their contest against Thomas MacLaren School (Colorado Springs, CO). The Highlanders go into the non-league contest with a 11-11 record. In their last contest, Thomas MacLaren School nipped James Irwin (Colorado Springs, CO), 69-45, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Panthers confront the Las Animas Trojans (Las Animas, CO) in a non-league contest, on Friday, February 28. Walsenburg will attempt to better on its 3-18 season record. The Trojans go into the contest with a 7-14 record after their 75-58 league loss to Hoehne (Hoehne, CO).
