The Chapin Eagles lacrosse squad scored 18 points and limited the visiting James F. Byrnes Rebels to 7 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Eagles now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Oceanside Collegiate Academy for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 4. Chapin will clash with a Landsharks squad coming off a 17-3 non-league win over Dutch Fork (Irmo, SC). The Landsharks record now stands at 2-0.

With the loss, James F. Byrnes falls to 1-1 on the year. The Rebels host Wade Hampton (Greenville, SC) to clash with the Generals in a 5A Upper District 2 challenge on Friday, February 28. The Generals go into the challenge with a record of 1-0. Wade Hampton won 17-12 in their recent non-league challenge against Mauldin (Mauldin, SC)
