Evans Knights (Evans, GA) boosters exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Washington County Golden Hawks (Sandersville, GA), 10-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Evans moves its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Effingham County (Springfield, GA) to clash with the Rebels in a 5A Region 1 test on Friday, February 28. The Rebels come into the test with a record of 2-2. Effingham County won 7-0 in their recent non-league test against Brantley County (Nahunta, GA)
The Golden Hawks now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Dodge County for a non-league test on Tuesday, March 4.
