In Tuesday's non-league game, the host Valley Vikings baseball team scored a nice 28-0 win over the West Mesa Mustangs.
The Vikings (1-0) will now prepare for their game against Eldorado (Albuquerque, NM). The Golden Eagles go into the non-league game with a 1-0 record. In their last game, Eldorado knocked off Rio Grande (Albuquerque, NM), 16-3, in a non-league game.
Next, the Mustangs play the Del Norte Knights (Albuquerque, NM) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, March 4. West Mesa will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record.
