In Tuesday's non-league match, the host West Covina Bulldogs softball team scored a tight 12-11 win over the Walnut Mustangs.
The Bulldogs (1-1) will now prepare for their match against South Hills (West Covina, CA). The Huskies come into the non-league match with a 1-0 record. In their last match, South Hills nipped El Rancho (Pico Rivera, CA), 19-0, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Mustangs battle the Sunny Hills Lancers (Fullerton, CA) in a non-league match, on Thursday, February 27. Walnut will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record. The Lancers come into the match with a 1-1 record after their 14-8 non-league win over Valencia (Placentia, CA).
