Hough Huskies (Cornelius, NC) backers exited the stadium satisfied Tuesday as they saw their lacrosse team top the visiting Providence Panthers (Charlotte, NC), 15-3 in a non-league game.

With the victory, Hough improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Huskies host South Iredell (Statesville, NC) to play the Vikings in a Greater Metro/Queen City game on Friday, February 28. The Vikings come into the game with a record of 0-1. South Iredell lost 16-1 in their recent non-league game against Lincoln Charter (Denver, NC)

The Panthers now have a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Charlotte Country Day School for a non-league game on Saturday, March 1. Providence will play a Buccaneers team coming off a 18-1 non-league win over Mooresville (Mooresville, NC). The Buccaneers record now stands at 1-0.
