The Lake Norman Charter Knights lacrosse squad scored 19 points and limited the visiting Pine Lake Prep Pride to 5 in the Knights league triumph on Tuesday.

The Knights now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Marvin Ridge for a non-league challenge on Friday, February 28. Lake Norman Charter will clash with a Mavericks squad coming off a 13-11 non-league win over Legion Collegiate Academy (Rock Hill, SC). The Mavericks record now stands at 1-0.

With the loss, Pine Lake Prep falls to 0-1 on the year. The Pride host Bradford Prep (Charlotte, NC) to clash with the Bears in a Catawba Shores/Metro 8/South Piedmont challenge on Tuesday, March 4. The Bears go into the challenge with a record of 0-1. Bradford Prep lost 11-10 in their recent non-league challenge against Parkwood (Monroe, NC)
