Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Providence Day Chargers (Charlotte, NC) and the visiting Legion Collegiate Academy Lancers (Rock Hill, SC), witnessed Providence Day's lacrosse squad top Legion Collegiate Academy by a score of 15-3.
The Chargers (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Myers Park (Charlotte, NC). The Mustangs enter the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Myers Park was overwhelmed by Lake Norman (Mooresville, NC), 16-2, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Lancers meet the Christ the King Crusaders (Huntersville, NC) in a non-league contest, on Friday, February 28. Legion Collegiate Academy will attempt to better on its 0-2 season record. The Crusaders enter the contest with a 1-1 record after their 21-3 non-league win over South Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC).
