The Douglas County Tigers edged the visiting Central Lions soccer team by a tally of 4-3 in Tuesday's non-league game.
Next, the Tigers face the South Paulding Spartans (Douglasville, GA) in a non-league game, on Friday, February 28. Douglas County will attempt to advance on its 2-1 season record. The Spartans enter the game with a 0-3 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to North Paulding (Dallas, GA).
The Lions (1-2) will now prepare for their game against Cedartown (Cedartown, GA). The Bulldogs enter the non-league game with a 3-0 record. In their last game, Cedartown held off Coosa (Rome, GA), 6-2, in a non-league game.
